Ok there is a ski resort on Mt Etna but it isn't open in the summer, or when the volcano is erupting for that matter. However that didn't stop Marco Tomasello and Simone Braconi getting some off season skiing in. I wouldn't like to be the shop that works on those bases afterwards.
