Very enjoyable morning cruising around the pistes of Chamrousse nordic park. Apart from the very steep walls of the Astragale all the climbs were pleasant as I was able to take them at a reasonable tempo. Quite a lot of people on the plateau. The Astragale wasn't open all the way to the bottom, there was a liason piste that was open. Quite icy on the ski down, probably better in the afternoon.
Hard snow before 10am, getting soggy on sunny slopes by midday. Generally very good skating conditions.
