The bike path from Tencin has been extended all the way to Pontcharra over the summer so I decided to check it out, at least as far as Le Cheylas reservoir, Pontcharra is just a bit beyond. I was on rollerskis of course. I haven't done any rollerskiing this autumn as I was more focussed on doing some small runs and building base miles cycling. So I was a bit rusty starting out and it was a bit damp under any tree cover. Got back into the swing of things towards the reservoir and stopped near Buissiere bridge.
Had a tail wind for the return, which was nice but managed to fall on twigs as I wasn't paying attention and was going to fast for the conditions. Return was nice as the damp had evaporated. GPS was a bit erratic for some reasons. Will try to get to Poncharra next time.
Warm, tshirt weather, about 20C after early morning fog on the river. A few sticks and quite a bit of gravel on the path, especially where cars have been driving kicking the stones up.
